At the turn of January and February 2026, special spatial scaffolding was built in Apollo’s grotto. This will allow restorers to access even the most delicate details of the decoration, which until now could not be professionally examined. The modification and assembly of the spatial scaffolding, which had to be handled individually due to the exceptional art-historical significance of the space, was carried out by the Kravciv company. The collaboration with Kravciv was excellent. They first created a 3D model and detailed technical drawings for the scaffolding, and the scaffolding itself is of a high standard in terms of both technology and craftsmanship. Thanks to this, restorers and other specialists will be able to begin conducting material and technological surveys in the upper parts of the grotto, on the most degraded and endangered parts of the decoration.
