On August 13, 2024, Archbishop Josef Nuzík and Rector Martin Procházka signed a memorandum at the Archbishop’s Chateau in Kroměříž. This memorandum ensures that the restoration of these unique spaces is based on thorough research by experts in the field. It emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary research involving experts in art history and monument conservation. The agreement also includes cooperation in obtaining public funding and using research findings. For example, these findings could be used to organize study programs or educational and popular science activities. Palacký University Olomouc is already collaborating on the study of stucco decorations through the international project Stucco Decoration across Europe, which is co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program.
