As part of the Czech cooperation initiative, contact was established with the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, with prof. MgA. Adam Pokorný, Ph.D., to study the murals in the three halls of the sala terrena. Contact was also established with Ing. Jan Válek, Ph.D., and Ing. Jaroslav Valach, Ph.D., from the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
As part of international cooperation, several consultations took place in situ, e.g. with prof. Maria Rosa Lanfranchi and prof. Renata Pintus from the Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence (Italy). Cooperation in the form of consultations and non-invasive optical research also began with restorers Medea Uccelli and Greta Acquistapace.
